I’ve been teaching and performing music for over 20 years. I instruct guitar, bass, ukulele, piano and drums.

My music studio is located in my home in Mesa off of Lindsey and Brown. It’s equipped with the all the gear needed for any musical situation. I also do full band rehearsals and recordings sessions at my studio.

I have a very comfortable waiting area in the next room for parents and students.

I also teach in Scottsdale at Music Masters which is located off of Scottsdale & Shea.

​Here is a little background on my music history…

I began playing and performing music at a very young age. I started out on piano and clarinet as kid performing in my church band through my teens and into college.

When I graduated high School from Humanities and Sciences Institute I received a music scholarship to Phoenix Community College. In college I continued my studies in piano and started playing guitar. I took many private lessons from local legends in the jazz and rock scene.

I studied everything from music theory, electronic music, recording, music composition, music history and performed in the the college Pep Band during football games. I graduated with an AA in Music Performance in Piano and Guitar

I began teaching privately at the local community center while in college and after graduating I was offered an instructor position at the Tempe School for the Arts teaching classes on beginning through advance guitar.

I greatly appreciated the opportunity but after a year I decided I preferred the one-on-one interaction that private instruction offered.

I went back to college at MCC and studied Jazz for two years. It really opened up my mind to different musical concepts and theory. I studied with a few amazing jazz musicians.

Over the past 20 years I’ve taught at several amazing mom and pop music stores teaching private instruction in guitar, ukulele, bass, drums and piano. Currently I teach out of my Mesa home studio and Music Masters in Scottsdale.

With all of these talented players I also began putting student rock bands together and we performed all over the valley. At one point I was rehearsing 8 student bands. It was hectic but so much fun!
