Jen Logan is the owner and the instructor of all of the bands at AZ Rock School. She also does private instruction in guitar, bass, piano, and ukulele.

Background: Jen started playing and performing music at a very young age. In her preteens she began playing piano and clarinet. Growing up she performed in her school's Band, Orchestra and church band.

When she graduated high School from Humanities and Sciences Institute she received a scholarship to Phoenix Community College. In college she began to study guitar privately with classical and rock instructors. She majored in Music Performance in Piano and Guitar and studied everything from music theory, electronic music and recording, music composition, music history and performed in the the college Pep Band. 

She began teaching privately at the local community center while in college and after graduating started teaching beginning through advanced guitar at Tempe School for the Arts. After teaching there for a year, received an offer to continue but she decided that she preferred the one-on-one interaction that private instruction offered.

Jen then began private instruction in guitar, bass and piano at Stages Music and in time began putting together students bands and giving them performance opportunities around the valley. Currently she instructs at Music Loft Studio, Guitar Gallery, McDowell Mountain Music Lessons and at her private rehearsal studio in her home.
